Jeanne Firment

Your instructor: Jeanne has always had a strong passion for art since her early childhood. The first time she saw Bob Ross on her local PBS station back in the 1980's, she knew that's what she wanted to do someday. Over the years she continued to practice Bob's wet-on-wet painting technique, making mountains and happy little trees.

In November 2020, she completed the Bob Ross Certification Program under the instruction of master trainer Nic Hankins and is now a Certified Bob Ross Landscape Instructor. She relishes the opportunity to teach anyone who wants to experience Bob's Joy of Painting!

Jeanne is honored to be one of three certified instructors teaching at the Bob Ross Experience in Muncie, Indiana which is the location where Bob filmed his Joy of Painting series.

Jeanne's teaching philosophy: I teach the same wet-on-wet oil painting technique that Bob Ross did using the brushes, paints, and canvas that he developed specifically for his painting method. During the class, I'll share some of Bob's famous quotes and stories about him during class. My goal is to share the joy of painting with everyone!
