Class Description

Join Thomas Craley for this hands-on pour painting class on Monday, September 16 at Calisto Terra in Toledo. Thomas will teach you the "Rainbow Swipe" technique. You'll learn to mix your own colors, and apply them to canvas to create your own stunning masterpiece! We'll provide all the necessary materials to create your 12x12 canvas. Creations will stay at Callisto Terra to dry and can start being picked up during regular business hours starting September 20th. This class is for adults and teens. About your instructor: Thomas Craley is a passionate self-taught mixed media artist who masterfully blends bold colors and dynamic movement in his creations. Embarking on his artistic journey during the pandemic, Thomas found solace and joy, not just for himself but also for his loved ones. In April 2022, he enthusiastically founded TC Acrylics, LLC. Thomas has displayed his work at numerous Toledo and Lima craft shows and has been featured in prominent venues in the Toledo and surrounding area. In 2023, Thomas started teaching acrylic pour painting classes at various locations in the surrounding area. Thomas’ recognition includes Holistic Hands Wellness Gallery Art Expo Winner-2022 and the Save Our Planet Art Contest- Just Toledo- 2024. Thomas’ teaching philosophy: Teaching acrylic pour painting is a very freeing art. I incorporate out-of-the-ordinary household items with painting instead of the using traditional paint brushes. The whole point of art is to have fun, without rules or qualms of being perfect. It allows the abstract artist to enjoy themselves and think outside the box.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your class up to 5 days prior to the class date to receive a refund, less the 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 5 days prior to the class date, you will not receive a refund. You may pass along your booking to a friend or family member by emailing info@artdock.org and include the replacement’s name and email.
