Class Description

Capture the colors of the Fall season in this Paint Like Bob Ross class. You will learn to paint 'The Magic of Fall' from The Joy of Painting Season 28. Certified Bob Ross Instructor Jeanne Firment will teach the wet on wet painting technique Bob is famous for. All students will complete their own 12 x 16 inch painting to take home. Join in this class on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. All supplies will be provided. Your instructor: Jeanne has always had a strong passion for art since her early childhood. The first time she saw Bob Ross on her local PBS station back in the 1980's, she knew that's what she wanted to do someday. Over the years she continued to practice Bob's wet-on-wet painting technique, making mountains and happy little trees. In November 2020, she completed the Bob Ross Certification Program under the instruction of master trainer Nic Hankins and is now a Certified Bob Ross Landscape Instructor. She relishes the opportunity to teach anyone who wants to experience Bob's Joy of Painting! Jeanne is honored to be one of three certified instructors teaching at the Bob Ross Experience in Muncie, Indiana which is the location where Bob filmed his Joy of Painting series. "All you need is the desire to make beautiful things happen on canvas." - Bob Ross Jeanne's teaching philosophy: I teach the same wet-on-wet oil painting technique that Bob Ross did using the brushes, paints, and canvas that he developed specifically for his painting method. During the class, I'll share some of Bob's famous quotes and stories about him during class. My goal is to share the joy of painting with everyone!

You may cancel your class up to 5 days prior to the class date to receive a refund, less the 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 5 days prior to the class date, you will not receive a refund.
