Class Description

Enjoy creating 2 beautiful ceramic tiles using alcohol inks in a beautiful room filled with light and located in a quiet setting. Participants will experiment with various techniques to create uniquely beautiful works of art that can be displayed on a small easel or framed. David, will supply all of the materials so just come and have fun! Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Adults and Teens About your instructor: David Wolff has dedicated his career to learning and teaching art. After earning a Bachelor of Art Education from the Ohio State University, David had a long career as an art teacher at the high school level and recently retired from teaching at Edison High School. David was elected to serve as a Northeast Ohio Art Education Association officer and currently serves as President of the Firelands Area Art League. David has received recognition as the Northeast Ohio Art Education Association Outstanding Art Teacher in 2012 and received numerous Best of Show and other awards in the Firelands Area Art League Shows. He received third place in the "State of the Art" Show at Ohio University and completed a summer residency at the Cleveland Institute of Art. David’s teaching philosophy: I love sharing my art and techniques with others. I have a comprehensive approach to teaching, sharing both my knowledge and engaging with students in a very hands-on way to help them learn. I am flexible and eager to help every student with their specific needs at whatever level they are at artistically.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your class up to 5 days prior to the class date to receive a refund, less the 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 5 days prior to the class date, you will not receive a refund. You may pass along your booking to a friend or family member by emailing info@artdock.org and include the replacement’s name and email.
